From 18 to 20 May 2018, a spinal surgeon team from Bethune Medical Development Association of Canada (BMDAC), Prof. Joel Finkelstein, Prof. Johnson Kin-Hung Yung,��Prof. Jian Wang and Prof. Lingguang Wang visited Binzhou Medical University Hospital (BMUH) and participated in a series of academic activities. 

On the morning of 18th, Mr. Jinggang Zhao, BMUH Board Director, met the experts. During the meeting, Mr. Zhao expressed his sincere welcome to the experts and gratitude over the support given by BMDAC to BMUH in personnel training and academic exchange. Prof. Joel Finkelstein, on behalf of BMDAC, extended his thanks over BMUH’s invitation. With deep impression on BMUH’s efficiency and proficiency, he expected to build up bilateral cooperation so as to promote clinical skills for both parties. After the meeting, President Jianmin Li hosted a guest professor appointment ceremony and Mr. Jinggang Zhao presented guest professor certificates to Joel Finkelstein, Johnson Kin-Hung Yung,��Jian Wang and Lingguang Wang.

During the next two days, BMUH and BMDAC spinal surgeons jointly participated in a series of academic activities including operation, lectures, intractable case discussion and so on. 

Canadian experts’ visit not only brought the Bethune Spirit but also cutting-edge clinical skills to BMUH, which is of great significance in activating our academic atmosphere.
