On 3rd, Dec. 2016, the national medical English test-METS, was first held at Binzhou Medical University Hospital, and altogether 112 doctors, nurses and technicians from BMUH particaipated in the test.
 

As a four-level English test system for medical professionals, METS is designed to test the ability to use English to process the medical information (or to perform the tasks which are related to medical issues) in the medical workplaces. 
 

The test is organized by MOE examination center. It provides a scientific criterion for medical professionals to assess their own medical English proficiency and also an objective basis for hospitals to select overseas training candidates.
