The program aims to gain advanced medical technology, management idea and research method, then apply them to clinical practice, in order to provide more excellent service and promote the development of our hospital. Under the direction of specific professors, trainees undertake training and observership in clinical departments in various ways, such as participating in ward round, operation, case discussion, workshop and research projects.
The Britain medical organizations we cooperate with include Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and University College London Hospital:
Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust
It is one of the largest NHS trusts in England and together with Imperial College London forms the first academic health science centre (AHSCs) in United Kingdom. The trust was formed in October 2007. It currently manages five hospitals: Charing Cross Hospital; Hammersmith Hospital; Queen Charlotte's and Chelsea Hospital; St Mary’s Hospital and Western Eye Hospital.
University College Hospital
University College Hospital (UCH) is a teaching hospital located in London, United Kingdom. It is part of the University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and is closely associated with University College London (UCL, founded in 1834). Its excellent medical skill and high quality service enjoy a high reputation both in the UK and European region.
Since we started the UK training program in November 2014, 3 groups of 12 doctors have successfully completed their three-month-long clinical training in diverse hospitals in the UK so far.
